6th Grade Keyboarding Expectations

Be respectful.
Be in your seat ready to start the days lesson when the bell rings.
Remember, 3 tardies to class and you will receive a lunch detention!
Stay in your seat. Failure to follow this rule will cost you 10 participation points each time to leave it! Leave it 3 times during a class period and you will receive a lunch detention!
We have assigned seats for now, if you follow the rules you will be allowed to choose your own seats.
No talking when I am talking.
Chairs need to be pushed in when you leave.
Leave your personal space area around your computer clean. It should be that way when you arrive.
You MAY NOT go to the bathroom at the beginning of class, you need to wait until after I have presented the lesson to you. If it becomes a habit during my class we will speak to the nurse and figure something out.
Be polite and respectful of both me and your peers.
Do not lean back in your chairs.
Do not line up at the door. You are to remain in your seat until the bell rings.
Stay on task, if you finish find something quiet to do.
Be respectful of the computers.
If I have given the class ample time to complete an assignment and you have not finished the assignment it is your responsibility to find time to finish it outside of class.

First offense - verbal warning
Second offense - you lose 10 points from your participation grade
Third offense - you lose 20 points, a referral (with lunch detention), and a new seat will be assigned.
Fourth offense - appointment with Principal
